CANned Beer Classic

Summer is in full swing and the Fourth of July is upon us! I don’t know about you but the Independence Day holiday reminds me of the good old US of A, backyard barbecues, beer and games. Our special events team decided to capture the spirit of summer and host the CANned Beer Classic.

The event is THIS SUNDAY, July 8 at the resort and is FREE admission! Sorry, those of you who are under the age of 21 are not permitted at this event. From 12-5, guests can enjoy a few cold ones, some great bbq food, live music and fun backyard games.  (All beverages should be enjoyed responsibly of course!) All in our backyard, the biggest yard around! 

I know, I know, you are probably thinking.. canned beer?!?! That’s right canned beer is making a comeback and has quickly become the packaging vessel of choice amongst some of the most popular microbreweries. Guests will pick and choose which canned brews that they would like to enjoy and pay for them along the way. Check out our beer selection here. No upfront costs are involved. The best part is that the first 500 guests will receive a FREE Bear Creek koozie!

If this event couldn’t get any better just read this: We are hosting an array of backyard games that we are lovingly referring to as the deCANthalon! Guests will create teams and compete in games like beanbag toss, horseshoes, quoits and much more. The winners will receive these super cool trophies:
