Help us Jumpstart Winter

Winter arrived last week leaving us blanketed in almost 3” of natural snow and colder temps. This allowedBear Creek to start gearing up and we began to make snow on November 28 but still not enough to open for the season. The temperatures began to rise and we even saw a 60 degree day. This is why we need your help to wake winter on December 7.

Help us jumpstart winter at our Waking Winter Bash. This is an all ages event with something for everyone. There will be a large bonfire to warm you up, while enjoying drink specials from the outdoor ice bar. Don’t forget to check out live ice carving demonstrations. Still not in the mood for the winter season, then check out screenings of ski and snowboard videos on our huge outdoor movie screen. Need a break from the outdoors, stop into the Trails end Café for food and drink specials, a DJ and trivia or reconnect with your ski buddies while listening to a live performance by The Yonders.

Let’s make enough noise at the Waking Winter Bash to wake Ullr the Norse God of Snow and Skiing and bring back the colder temperatures that we need for snowmaking. Everyone is tired of these warmer than average days and cold weather teases. Join us on December 7 in hopes that we wake Ullr and the snow can start flying
