MACUNGIE, PA. – The Lehigh Valley’s only Cheese Rolling contest will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2pm at Bear Creek Mountain Resort and Conference Center on the bank above the pond. The contest will be held in combination with the Cheese, Garlic and Summer Mountain Festival, running from noon-5pm. Both events will be held rain or shine.

BEAR CREEK TO HOST FIREWORKS DURING

MACUNGIE, PA. ‐ Bear Creek will be hosting an hour-long fireworks display in conjunction with a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on Saturday May 5. The complimentary fireworks display will take place in the base area of the mountain beginning at 8:30pm.

MACUNGIE, PA This is not your average wine festival! A new two-day wine and food festival is planned for April 14 and 15 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. In addition to the wine festival, a four course wine dinner, poolside port tasting and farmers market are also scheduled. Guests can attend all events or pick and choose which suit their interest.

MACUNGIE, PA. – The Winter Showdown Competition series is returning to Bear Creek for a second year on Sunday 1/29. The series consists of three separate competitions; a Rail Jam on 1/29, Big Air on 2/12 and a Slopestyle competition on 2/26. Top competitors from each event will compete for the overall series title.

MACUNGIE, PA. ‐ We’re bringing back the 80’s, on Friday January 27, Bear Creek will be hosting an 80’s party night in the lodge from 7 to 10pm. The party will include 80’s music, giveaways and an 80’s themed costume contest. Prizes will be distributed for best female, best male and overall best 80’s costume.
