BEAR CREEK TO RE-OPEN FOR SKIING AND RIDING ON 1/2/12

MACUNGIE, PA – Bear Creek Mountain Resort has taken advantage of the cold temperatures and will re-open for skiing and riding on Monday, January 2 at 9am with limited terrain. Lift tickets will be sold for just $5 all day and the mountain will operate with regular hours of operation. All proceeds from lift ticket sales on Monday will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown.  

BEAR CREEK MAKES IMPROVEMENTS FOR 2011‐2012 SEASON

MACUNGIE, PA. – Bear Creek Mountain Resort has invested $800,000 in improvements for this winter season that includes a new groomer, outdoor Rock Garden, seasonal rental program and a retail store, Slopeside Sports.

A fifth groomer, a piston bully 600 with winch attachment, has been added to our fleet of mountain groomers. This groomer will enhance the grooming of our most technical trails, therefore providing optimal snow conditions on these trails.

BEAR CREEK TO HOST NATIONAL MOUNTAIN BIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Nov. 18, 2011) — Locations for several national championship events in 2013 and 2014 are determined, USA Cycling announced Friday.

The following events will be held in these cities for the 2013 and 2014 years:

Elite, U23, Juniors & Paralympic National Championships    
Madison, Wisconsin

MACUNGIE, PA. - The 2011 Bear Creek Fall Festival is planned for Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 9am to 5pm at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. The event will be held outdoors in the base area and is a shine only event.
