Skiing & SnowboardingSnowboarding at Bear Creek

Enjoy 21 trails on over 86 acres of skiable terrain at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Our mountain offers something for every level of skier or rider, from an expanded beginner area complete with a carpet lift and triple chair, to Sasquatch, our most challenging black diamond trail with a 50% slope. Snowtubing

For more wintertime fun, enjoy 5 lanes of the steepest tubing park in the region. Snowtubing tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis and can be purchased here.

Hiking & Mountain Biking

Over 7 miles of wooded hiking & mountain biking trails encircle our property. Hikers and bikers are invited to use these trails free of charge during the spring and summer months. We only ask you follow a few simple guidelines and stop in at The Grille at Bear Creek or the Trail's End Café for post ride refreshment.

Fishing & Boating

Spend the afternoon fishing or boating on our five-acre lake. Home to largemouth bass and a variety of feisty sunfish, the lake is a great place for catch-and-release fishing fun. Boating options include paddling around the lake in one of our single or tandem kayaks, a stand-up paddle board, or four-person paddle boats.

Guest of The Hotel have access to fishing and boating amenities free of charge. Visitors may purchase an annual fishing permit at the hotel front desk for $20, but will not have access to boats.

Disc GolfDisc Golf Bear

Try this “flying disc” version of golf on our 18-hole course. The tee for the 1st hole overlooks our five-acre lake, and the remaining holes wind through the woods and along the slopes to create a variety of challenges for the disc golf enthusiast. Score cards and maps of the course are available at the trailhead, located in parking lot 4.

Geocaching

Geocaching combines modern GPS technology with a traditional treasure-hunting game. Several caches (treasures) are hidden throughout our property. For information, inquire at geocaching.com.

Bear Creek is just a short drive from several local championship golf courses. The Hotel offers golf vacation packages.
