BEAR CREEK MOUNTAIN RESORT HOPS TO IT! THIRD ANNUAL BREW FEST FEATURES OVER 25 BREWERIES
Macungie, PA- Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center, a four-season retreat located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, is hosting its third annual Bear Creek Brew Fest - Tap into the Creek - on Sunday, June 8 from 1-5 p.m. With beer being the oldest and most popular alcoholic beverage in the world, and more than 25 breweries offering their best suds for sampling, every thirst is bound to be quenched.
Attendees, who must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid driver’s license, will enjoy tasting barley and malt recipes of well-known brands as Samuel Adams, Yuengling, and Blue Moon, as well as a number of boutique labels, including Bethlehem Brew Works, Harpoon Brewery, and Magic Hat Brewing Company. The Philadelphia Funk Authority will provide live music on the outdoor deck.
Brew Fest tickets, available at The Inn at Bear Creek or online at www.skibearcreek.com, are $30 in advance or $40 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $10 (designated drivers must also be at least 21 years old). Discounted tickets are also available for groups of 15 or more. Bear Creek is also offering the Brew Fest Overnight Package, with rates starting at $230.95 for Sunday and $264.95 for Saturday. The package, for two, includes:
- Two tickets to the Brew Fest and two sampling glasses
- A pair of souvenir Brew Fest T-shirts
- Breakfast for two at the Trail's End Café
- Overnight accommodations for June 7th or June 8th
- Additional guests may be added to the room for $65 per person per night
Bear Creek Mountain Resort touts a number of complimentary activities during the summer season. Guests can relax by the pool or hot tubs, work out in the state-of-the-art fitness center or take a stroll around the pond. Additional activities include nature trails for hiking, as well as mountain biking, boating, fishing, horseshoes and volleyball. The Spa at Bear Creek is also available for those who need a bit of pampering and relaxation.
