BEAR CREEK MOUNTAIN RESORT TO HOST INAUGURAL CELEBRATION OF WOMEN'S WELLNESS WEEKEND Pennsylvania Property Partners with Sacred Heart Hospital for Aug.22-24 event
Macungie, Pa. — Bear Creek Mountain Resort, in partnership with Sacred Heart Hospital, is accepting reservations for its first-ever Celebration of Women’s Wellness, a three-day retreat to be held Aug. 22-24.
The weekend escape is designed for women and friends to restore, rejuvenate and re-connect with themselves and one another, while learning to manage stress and achieve balance in their lives. The program includes sessions on health and nutrition, wine pairings, meals, as well as yoga classes and nature hikes. Spa services at The Spa at Bear Creek complement the invigorating experience.
The event begins on Friday evening (Aug. 22) with a “Mediterranean Road to Wellness: Olive Oil, Wine and Cheese Tasting,” after which there will be private spa services for event participants plus live entertainment by the musical group, Red, in The Grille.
Additional weekend activities include:
- A morning nature hike
- Educational speaker sessions on women’s health issues, nutrition, living well and reducing stress
- A garden lunch, featuring locally grown produce and prepared by Resort Chef Jason Pope
- Vendor Alley: a display of spa and hair care products, make-up demonstrations, work-out apparel and items designed with wellness in mind
- Spa appointments
- Dinner, followed by “Chick Flicks” movie night
- Sunday morning yoga
Priced at $395 per person, the package includes two nights at The Inn at Bear Creek, specified meals (welcome reception, two breakfasts, lunch and dinner), as well as a $50 spa credit and gift bag.
A Celebration of Women’s Wellness is presented by Sacred Heart Hospital, a 263-bed Catholic medical center located in central Allentown, Pa. Founded in 1912, the hospital offers a full range of advanced medical services, ranging from gastric bypass and cardiac services to oncology, orthopedics and women’s health. A comprehensive range of home care services, including visiting nurses and hospice care, also are available. A network of physician practices throughout Lehigh and Northampton counties provide complete primary and pediatric medical care to the region’s residents.
