Macungie, Penn. — Recognized as one of the region’s most popular event and meeting facilities, Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center encourages guests to enjoy some playtime while still getting down to business this ski season. Now through March 31, 2009, the four-season retreat is offering the Give Your Meeting a Lift* promotion which includes the following for guests of first-time groups holding meetings in the hotel:
- A pair of midweek, extended day lift tickets for each meeting attendee

- Welcome gift in guest rooms (for overnight guests only)
Recently, the Resort announced numerous improvements to its ski areas, including a new quad chair lift, expansion of family and teaching terrain areas and the addition of 14 automated snow guns, increasing production by 30 percent and allowing trails to open earlier in the season. The new quad chair lift, which doubles the resort’s uphill capacity, has a vertical rise of 485 feet and is approximately 2200 feet in length, offering 85 chairs at a speed of 415 feet per minute.
