BEAR CREEK TO HOST 5th ANNUAL BREW FEST ON JUNE 6, 2010 MACUNGIE, PA. -- The 2010 Bear Creek Brew Fest, sponsored by Berks County Living magazine, radio station WZZO and the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, will be held on June 6, 2010 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort and Conference Center.
The festival will take place from 1-5pm and will be held outdoors at the base of the mountain. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside to the Lodge.
This year’s Brew Fest will feature craft brews from 13 breweries, including Bear Republic Brewing Co., Blue Point Brewing Co., Crabby Larry’s Brew Pub, Cricket Hill, Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales, Fegley’s Brew Works, Lancaster Brewing Co., River Horse Brewing Company, Sly Fox, Southampton Publick House, Stone Brewing Co., Weyerbacher Brewing Company and Yuengling.
Attendees will enjoy live entertainment by The Groovement and food samples from local vendors including Famous Kirby's, Fat Head Peppers, Happy Hal’s Jalapeno Relish, The Nutty Bavarian, The Original Roasted Corn, The Sportsman's Table and The Village Chocolate Shoppe. Guests will also have the opportunity to attend a beer seminar hosted by Michael Greenstein, Executive Chef at Bear Creek, who will speak on the topic of cooking with beer.
Tickets are available for $25 in advance or $30 at the door and include a commemorative tasting glass. Designated driver tickets are also available for $5. Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.bcmountainresort.com, over the phone at 1-866-754-2822 or in person at the front desk of The Inn at Bear Creek.
The Inn at Bear Creek is also offering a Brew Fest package. Starting at just $186 for two guests, this package includes an overnight stay at The Inn at Bear Creek, two tickets for event with commemorative glasses and breakfast for at the Trail’s End Café.
