The resort does not rent out ski, snow, or snowboarding clothes. Those can be purchased from our retail shop, Slopeside Sports, located in the plaza.
Ski and snowboard rentals are a cost-effective solution to trying out a new sport. Skis, snowboards, and related winter equipment can be expensive.
There are pros and cons to both sides — check out our blog to help you make your decision.
Yes. You can use your own ski boots or snowboarding boots with other rental equipment from Bear Creek as long as your boots fit our bindings.
You can use your own skis or snowboards with other rental equipment from Bear Creek as long as our tune shop techs are able to adjust your bindings.
Most equipment works well together. However, there are exceptions. Before you rent, call your local mountain shop first and let them know your binding make and model to see if they will be able to make the proper adjustments.
Your correct binding setting is dependent on what type of skier you are:
Type I – Skis slowly and cautiously. A lower release setting is appropriate for entry level skiers or those uncertain of their skier type.
Type II – Skis a variety of speeds and terrain. Average release setting appropriate for most recreational skiing.
Type III – Prefers skiing at higher speeds on more aggressive terrain. A high release setting is most appropriate.
No. Ski and snowboarding rentals can be purchased online without proof of ID. If the renter is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver.
The 2024-25 resort holidays are December 24, 2024 through January 1, 2025; January 20th, 2025; and February 17,2025.
