Southern Management Company’s policy is to make its websites accessible to users of the websites who have disabilities and to permit Company content providers to develop and post accessible content. To meet this goal, the Company implements the following initiatives:

  7. Appointing a website accessibility coordinator who is knowledgeable on website accessibility and digital accessibility standards, responsible for coordinating the Company’s responsibilities with respect to accessibility, and responsible for developing the accessibility practices;
  8. Modifying policies to prioritize accessibility bug fixes to ensure they are remedied with the same level of priority as any other equivalent loss of function for individuals without disabilities;
  9. Retaining website accessibility consultants responsible for conducting annual website accessibility evaluations of our websites; and
  10. Providing annual training to Company website content and technical support personnel on ensuring our websites conform to WCAG.

The Company undertakes these accessibility initiatives to expand access to everyone and to assist content providers, many of which have independent obligations under accessibility laws, with providing content in accessible formats.

The Company urges content providers to incorporate accessibility in their content posted on Company websites to meet a wide variety of requirements of users with disabilities.

Reservation Policy

To ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible, we have established the following reservation policy and procedures. Additional questions? Please visit our FAQ page or contact our Hotel Manager at 610-682-7100.

Confirmed Reservations

Bear Creek Mountain Resort accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for room reservations. A confirmed reservation will hold your accommodations through the night of your arrival. Once your reservation is confirmed, you are guaranteed the room type you booked. We will strive to fulfill requests for a specific room number and location. However, we cannot guarantee such a request.

Cancellation Policy

April 1 – November 30: Stays must be canceled 24 hours prior to check in, or registered guest will be charged 1st night room and tax.

December 1 – March 31:  Stays must be canceled 7 days prior to check in, or registered guest will be charged 1st night room and tax.

Advance Deposit Policy (Ski Season Only)

During ski season, all reservations will require an advance deposit equaling an average of one night stay at the time of booking. The advance deposit is fully refundable up to seven (7) days prior to your arrival date. The deposit, which is applied to the cost of your accommodation, will, unless otherwise requested, be charged to the credit card used to confirm your reservation. Cancellations made inside seven (7) days prior to your arrival will result in forfeiting one hundred percent (100%) of your deposits. For consecutive or multiple reservations, an additional deposit will be required and is non-refundable.

Room Damages

This property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries to guests or vehicles. The Hotel will not be held responsible for loss or damage to valuables that are not secured properly.

Resort Fees

A taxable resort fee of $24.95 is charged per night to allow for guests to enjoy the following complimentary amenities and offerings: Wi-Fi, parking, local and domestic long distance phone calls, indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, fitness center access, and year-round resort activities.

The above rate(s) may not reflect all possible fees, additional charges, or taxes associated with this reservation. For clarification regarding these charges, please contact our reservations department. Bear Creek is required to collect and remit taxes and other mandated fees. Taxes and other mandated fees are subject to change. Taxes and fees will be collected at the rate(s) that are valid during the dates of your stay.

Special Requests

If requested, a rollaway bed or crib may be placed in your room prior to your arrival (subject to availability; room restrictions apply). There is a $15 charge for each rollaway bed. Complimentary cribs will be furnished upon request.

Weekend and Holiday Minimums

All weekend and holiday bookings during the Bear Creek Mountain Resort ski season require a two or three night minimum stay. Special Event weekends/holidays throughout the rest of the year may require a two night minimum. Please check before booking your stay.

Pets

With the exception of a service animal, pets are not allowed in guest rooms or suites or on the grounds of Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Should a pet be discovered in the room, you will be billed a $100 cleaning and deodorizing fee. 

Definition

Under PA Dog Law:

“Service dog.” Any dog which has been or is in the process of being trained as a guide dog, signal dog or has been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals with impaired hearing to intruders or sounds, pulling a wheelchair or fetching dropped items.

Emotional support animals are not permitted.

No Smoking Policy

Guests electing to ignore our no smoking policy in the rooms will be assessed a $250 cleaning and deodorizing fee.

Check-In Time

From April 1st to November 30th, check-in at Bear Creek Mountain Resort begins at 3:00pm or as rooms become available. During ski season, check-in begins at 4:00pm or as rooms become available. If you intend to arrive before the applicable check-in time, we will make every effort to have your room available for you. However, earlier check-in times cannot be guaranteed. Guests are invited to enjoy the resort facilities before check-in on the scheduled day of arrival. The Hotel offers a secure baggage check.

Check-Out Time

Check-out at Break Creek Mountain Resort is at 11:00am. A late charge of $100 will be charged to rooms that are not vacant after 11:00am and the full room rate after 3:00pm. 

Changing Rooms

If you are changing rooms, please be prepared to vacate your first room by 11:00am. It is not necessary to check out at the front desk – simply notify the front desk upon vacating the room. Your current charges will be transferred to your new room. If your luggage is packed and left inside the room, our staff will place it in the new room for you. Your new room will be available after 3:00pm.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 11pm through 7:30am. Noise complaints may result in an additional charge.

Room Damages

Guests are responsible for leaving the room in the same condition (with normal usage) as it was when they arrived. The registered guest will be held responsible for any and all damages to the room found during the stay or after departure. 

Grilling/Barbecuing

Grilling and barbecuing are not permitted on the Bear Creek Mountain Resort property.

Guns or Firearms

BCMR prohibits guests from bringing guns, firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind onto BCMRS’ premises. 

Drones

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, BCMR prohibits the operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on, from, or above BCMRS’ premises absent specific written consent. This includes all UAVs, also commonly known as “drones,” regardless of their size, weight or purpose.

Your safety and security are our #1 priority. We go above and beyond to ensure this common goal is met.

Lift Ticket Purchase Policy
  • ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. 
  • All rescheduling requests must be emailed to [email protected] at least 72 hours prior to ticket date.
  • Tickets will only by exchanged for the same type of ticket (Ex. weekday tickets to weekday tickets, weekend/holiday to weekend/holiday, etc.).  

  • Tickets cannot be upgraded in person or online, no difference in payment will be accepted.

  • In case of Mountain closure for Snowsports, refunds will be processed automatically.
  • Unused tickets must be used within the same season and will not be transferred to next ski season.
