Inflatable Slip N’ Slide Tubing Course Returns to Bear Creek

(Macungie, PA – June 20, 2022) – Due to overwhelming demand, Slide the Slopes – one of the largest inflatable Slip ‘N Slide tubing courses, is returning to Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie, PA from Thursday, July 7 through Sunday, August 14. Thrill-seekers of all ages should grab their swimsuits and flock to Bear Creek this summer and prepare to slide down one of the Lehigh Valley’s most prominent mountains.
 
The family-friendly outdoor fun is open Thursdays through Sundays in two, four-hour sessions of unlimited sliding: Thursday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. or Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Hours of operation may vary based on inclement weather. Bear Creek will be running its Magic Carpet and Triple Chair to shuttle guests to the top of the course.

Participants can enjoy a variety of courses of various lengths, soak up the sunshine, and spend time with friends and family this summer,” said Erin Visco, General Manager, Bear Creek Mountain Resort. “Our guests had such a great time sliding down Bear Creek and staying cool last summer, we just had to bring it back.”
 
Slide the Slopes is one of the most unique and memorable water tubing experiences in the country featuring a series of inflatable slides and courses that stretches the length of one of the largest mountains in the Lehigh Valley,” added Visco. “It’s the perfect staycation attraction for anyone from the Mid-Atlantic region looking to be high atop the Lehigh Valley and sliding down at a rapid speed while staying cool on an inner tube.”
 
Guests who participate in Slide the Slopes can turn their adventure into a vacation and stay at Bear Creek Mountain Resort featuring a 116-room hotel with two restaurants and Mountain Activity Center. Guests can enjoy archery, ax throwing, SXS tours, a giant swing, yoga, mountain biking, off-road Segway tours, hiking, kayaking, tennis, basketball, volleyball, disc golf, fishing, and more. Guests can also enjoy lunch and dinner from the Hungry Bear Food Truck and the Trail’s End Café or The Grille.
 
Hours of operation at the Mountain Activity Center are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Hours are subject to change based on weather and demand.
 
Tickets for Slide the Slopes are $45 for Adult General Admission or $38 for children 12 and under. All tickets are valid for four hours on the date of issue with timed arrival in order to expedite check-in and assist with crowd management.
